I had an email from Debbie another of Teresa's helpers, she spoke to Rob Yesterday. This is what she told me.

Just to let you know I spoke to Rob last night. It seems that Teresa isn't too good. As she feared on Thursday they have been unable to find a vein in her arms to adminster the drugs so they have entered a line through her groin. She had a blood transfusion yesterday and I think he said she was going to have another today.

Sorry its not better news.

I am afraid Teresa has been taken back in hospital, they wanted her to go in on Thursday but she wouldn't go but yesterday afternoon she had no choice but to go back in. They wanted to put her back on intravenous antibiotics.

Update from Debs with Jip's adoption and settling in

The introductions didn't go too badly. Herbie, Pansy and Bella were quite good with Jip although I think they are a little bit scared of him. I put him in the cat room and fed him etc and within half an hour he was so giddy playing with all of his toys he didn't know what to do with himself! Bella hissed at him but only because he was playing with one of her favourite toys. Pansy hissed but only when he put his paw through the cage and tapped her, and Herbie spend about 15 minutes trying to hide from him when Jip started to follow him around! Hopefully they will come to love him. He really is such a lovable little thing, very purry and not at all frightened by the others.

Just to add if anything is in the harder to home bracket we have the space and the time - as I am already owned by a Sunny Harbour baby and a Paws Inn baby or 2 would join a very elite band here at the Clan

haven't been by on this site for a couple of weeks - some very scary sounding posts from a few days ago so I'm delighted to see you posting again T.

I would take another sooty face on but T slapped a ban on me having anymore

however, should the ban be removed then I'm sure I'd be an easy pushover

Seriously though T if you have made the decision to wind down Paws Inn and good homes are unfortunately thin on the ground then let me know. I'm due a Paws visit so when you're feeling strong enough I'll pop by. x

Jip is going to live with 3 other former Paws Inn residents, some of you may remember Bella and Pansy who lived on inches of deep faeces when we got them, and the third one is Herbie the tabby who was brought to me late at night after an RTA, his opening action was to diarhoea all over me and my hall carpet vet thought he was brain damaged. Well the wonderful Debbie came here for 2 and left with 3, a glutton for punishment she came back here as a helper and now we would be lost without her; I am delighted that Jip is going to have such a wonderful home and so happy that he is going to keep his name.

Hopefully his new mum will join us and let us know how he is settling when she picks him up tomorrow
