Blimey T, when you announced that Lark had had tabbies I thought they would be easier to tell apart than blacks but it still loooks like a Specsavers job to me.  They are gorgeous :Luv2: - can't wait to see them.

Glad Lily is feeling better.  I hope I'm more help with flea treatment than I was with bottle-feeding.

Teresa, poor Lily  :'( I approve of the name you chose for her by the way  :Luv2: I'm so glad to hear she's settling down now.

Thanks for the new pics of Lark and her babies. I just adore tabbies  :Luv: :Luv:

Now for an update on Lily, delighted to say she has eaten all wet and all dry food and is so much brighter and relaxed, she obviously feels safe with us.
Hoping Aunty Carol will help me with flea treatment tomorrow.

Poor babies  :( Thank heavens they are safe at Paws Inn now

I know it's better than nothing but can't believe only £34 was raised from the Pets at Home 'stall' - I know it's the credit crunch and everything but if the majority of people had just given 50p or a £1 then a decent amount could have been raised. Must be so disheartening for the Paws Inn helpers who gave up their time to do it

How awfully, awfully sad. At least it's 'onwards and upwards' for Lily and her three now.

Fingers crossed the Scumbag ex-owner took at least some of your advice on board

poor, poor Lily I'm glad she is safe now - are they keeping the daughter?

Sadly yes, I tried so hard for her and her kittens but she told me she had homes lined up for the kittens, did my best with a polite neutering speel, sadly couldnt do more. My guess is she is a BSB.

sorry to hear this T   hope its not another cupboard cat situation, they still haunt me

Dawn have you got a fly on my wall, cupboard is exactly what they are. We have given the poor cat a new name Lily. Lily and her daughter born last May lived together with huge overweight dog, Lilys daughter has litter of kittens just over 4 weeks, Lily gave birth on Thursday and became very aggressive now we know she was protecting her newborns but the owner locked her in a cupboard to protect her kids and the other kittens. Lily went ballistic and trashed the cupboard, owner padded cupboard with cardboard and left kittens on newspaper, Lily gave birth to a 5th kitten who we believe froze to death, owner told us she killed it, no way Lily loves her babies. We got her out and settled her at the Inn on Friday night.
Saturday morning she had not eaten or used tray and was just motionless so off to vets, vet emptied her bladder manually gave her injections of antibiotics, metacam and vitamins, Julie managed to spoon feed small amount of ad into her. She is riddled with fleas but vet not happy for us to attempt to treat before Mon/Tues. One of kittens was not doing well and I had gut feeling he wasnt going to make it.
When Claire and Debbie got back from Pets at Home Claire came to me and said she could see clear mucus on him, somehow I guessed cleft palette and Claire brought him into house for me to check, he had no roof of mouth whatsoever, so out of hours call out for pts , I called him Michael.
This morning Lily is a little more settled and has eaten her dry food overnight, her 3 surviving kittens seem to be feeding well.
Lily is just 2 years old, incredibly she had her 2nd litter just before Christmas and now she has litter NO. 3, she`ll not be having anymore. Someone is bound to ask what colour, Lily is longhaired black and all her babies are black.

Pets at Home not sure of exact figures but think ladies raised £34 and collected 10 boxes of sachets and some collars and dog treats??? Big thanks to Claire, Debbie and Sarah.

err...tidy drawers???  :-[  Exactly what are we talking about here

Carol trust you, because I had collapsed so badly I lost all my clothes to put it politely, Debbie and paramedic needed to find knickers and pyjamas and both were so impressed with my tidiness.  Thing is should I own up to having had a sort out a couple of weeks before   :evillaugh:
Should also have given Tula (former feral) and Ollie a mention for entertaining paramedic on my bed

Good luck at PAH for tomorrow!   :wow:

Just realised I have forgotten to tell people that the Paws Inn team (or at least the best of it) will be in Pets at Home in Northwich from 10 am till 3pm tomorrow. The idea is to spread the good word and hopefully gather some much needed food donations so if you are able please pop along and give ClaireR, Debbie and Sarah(Lil scruff) a hard time  :evillaugh:  seriously they have banned me from going cant think why ;) cept to say Good Luck ladies I know you will do much better without me.
Claire has made a completely new information leaflet, only seen it via email, much better than I could ever do, hopefully she will post it.
Yesterday Lil Scruff earned her Blue Peter badge, gave her a bin lots of photos and fablon and she did a very pretty cat bin for people to drop food in with try and get some pics.
As for Debbie poor lady has done a lot of cleaning this week.

Talking of Debbie she told me that paramedic was amazed with my drawers, said I had the tidiest drawers he had ever seen  they did have my permission to be in them

Darcy Tuttle and Pavlova off to new home together tomorrow.

Thanks so much for the photo - they both look amazing!

I think I might have to admit that Teresa was right as it looks like he will be all white soon!  Oh well - it was worth standing my ground for a while!

Hugs to Tachi, Vader and Mr Maru!

Akamaru didn't want you arguing so he partly grew out of them so please you both. They are still there a tiny bit, but they are very faint.

You have no idea how long it took me to get that rubbish photo.

There is also one of him and Vader, just to prove that they are best friends now.

Looking back at those early pictures, it hard to believe that he is the same cat, especially given the size of him now.
