Hi everyone

You will no doubt know that Teresa is back in hospital, but work continues at the Inn and we have been cuddling as usual this morning.

I thought you might like to see some photos of the gang and also our newest arrival James - he was brought to us by a local vet who had looked after him after he had been hit by a car. No owner has been traced so we were asked if we could look after him. He has some eye damage and a poorly tongue but he has recovered well.

Ahem, nope, you're quite right Jack and have a house point for remembering

You might recall that we'd had Scamp for a good few weeks before one of the vets pointed it out (first time we went to the vets the first one kept referring to Scamp as a 'he' lol!) and we'd got so used to calling Scamp a 'he' we thought we'd just carry on. As well as adressing Scamp by name we were often calling him 'boy' or 'baby boy' and we didn't want to confuse Scamp by suddenly saying 'girl'. Also, as T will tell you, he acts and looks just like a little boy

The funny thing is EXACTLY the same story happened with our other cat Scruff, who's also been brought up as a boy. Needless to say I think the vet thinks I'm a bit thick!

No doubt I probably come over as sounding a bit like a crack-pot. In truth it doesn't matter to me what sex they are as long as they're happy. And once their bits are removed they're all the same anyway. Lol.

CHICO (SCAMP) UPDATE!!!

Hiya all,

Chico/Scamp's mother here...just thought I'd share the most recent snaps with you all...

In this hot weather what's the best place to chill if you have a big furry black coat? In the bathroom sink of course! I found him a couple of days ago lolling around in the (empty) basin and luckily had my camera to hand. He seems to be obsessed with sinks - both kitchen and bathroom - if there's a tap dripping then he'll happily sit for hours pawing at it. Bless

Scamp also seems to LOVE playing fetch which is something I've not experienced before as a cat owner. Brilliant fun but as I'm self employed I'm not getting much work done as I'd rather play catch all day heheheh.
