Title: Will someone put the heating on? pleads Dawn
Post by: LilyandGary on December 29, 2012, 15:00:36 PM
Dawn is the last of Snowflake`s kittens to be homed, and as its been so cold recently she has had to resort to sleeping with the dog to keep warm  Poor dog, he really does put up with alot! She even tries to help him eat all his dinner up. Shhh, don`t tell her but he  really doesn`t need her assistance!

It must be bad for her to have to resort to sleeping with a D O G  :hairrasin: What a lovely pair they make!  :Luv:

Fingers crossed she won't have to put up with it for much longer and that her forever home is just round the corner :crossed:

We still have Josie who had the litter on the 13th of May - don't panic, she is going to a new home in the New Year!  Josie has been known to take on 3 large German Shepherds because she is protecting her area (our kitchen) where her babies were!

To say they were surprised every time is quite true, but they didn't argue with her!

Sadly we have missed the moments.  She was that quick in her defence of her babies, nobody could have possibly captured it.  We don't let Josie in the kitchen now, because we still have Rosie in their with her remaining kittens, and Rosie does chase, sometimes, but usually poor Biggles gets the brunt of her insecurity.

We will not be upsetting Rosie with the dogs, because she is leaving us soon, to go and live with a lovely Golden Retreiver, and naturally, we want it all to go well. :)
