Ollie died this evening; it would've been a year next Wednesday.

There's a post in the Rainbow Bridge forum now.

Well the Snotty Git purred all the way through his Applaws this evening and is now belly-up on the sofa and making ferocious growly noises at anyone that threatens to interfere  :Luv:

He came upstairs to say hello earlier too.

So far, so good...

Great that he has bounced back. I know the feeling only too well. It feels good

Jeeesh sorry - internet still wrong and I've got myself a dose of "fresher's flu cold" just to top things off.

The Olliemonster had a second vet visit on Tuesday and was given another antibiotic jab and his usual depo-medrone. He's started to perk up nicely, slowly but surely - methinks I'm fostering the Rubber Cat, so many times has he bounced back.

Just spent a small fortune on Applaws to tempt his newly-recovered appetite - a mog cannot live on tuna alone...

Sorry ladies, me blinking internet went wrong.

Very nice emergency vet gave him some short-acting steroid and an antibiotic, waiting today and then off to our usual vets tomorrow if I can make it.

Ollie's still hanging on but to be honest I'm starting to think he's had enough. He's not interested in food or drink at all, he's still happy to be cuddled but he hasn't said anything properly to me for a few days now.

So off to nice uncle Simon tomorrow and we'll see what he thinks.

PDSA are covering the emergency bill, I think, otherwise it'll have to go on a credit card.
