I buy the mice and day old chicks frozen from a reptile shop and then just defrost them as and when I need them. Need to sort out a bulk buying deal with the local shop with the amount I'll be getting through in a few weeks lol!

And what happens in a few weeks?  :shify:

mmm raw chicken wings - Mellika plays with it for ages and then has a little nibble, Raffiki turns from my loveable boy into a total monster - growls like a real leopard hisses and spits until its all gone and then turns back into Mummies little Angel

Tell me more about the chicken wings ?? I always thought you couldnt give cats chicken cos of the bones ?

Raw bones are ok and as they chew on them it's good for their teeth. Admittedly not all cats will eat chicken wings but it's worth a go to see if Leo will. Cooked bones should never be given to a cat as they are brittle and splinter.

Oh I forgot about raw chicken wings, must try and get them, everytime I go for them there is never any left, so eventually got out of the way of asking for them  :Luv2:

Max gets the Bob Martin Vita Chews they are  for hairballs , dental care and healthy skin and coat got them from the supermarket and tha same ones as Leo for treats

Trial and error with these things I think, somedays Max will eat them some days wont even look at them

Hi Betsy

Not really sure what they are to be honest?  :shy:

The only dental things I really give my boy are dental biscuits (although the jury is still out as to whether or not they make any difference at all  :evillaugh:), and a powder called Plaque Off which is sprinkled into his wet food.  Its a sea kelp powder which stops plaque forming on their teeth, and so far I have noticed a difference since using it.  I bought mine on ebay if you're interested in getting any for your little one.

Max is my first cat, I remember all the questions I had in the first few weeks ........... 7 years on its still a learning curve
