Great news. She deserves a quick recovery. Hopefully she will be well enough soon that you can sort your  :censored: neighbour out!  ;D

Yeay! So pleased Rosie is healing well.  ;D She must be 'ard as nails, that one! Give her a fuss from me - if she feels like being cuddly. :)

Ok, just got back - good news!!!

They have taken her off one of her medications (good, one less tablet to get down her throat!) The wound is starting to heal itself and by all accounts doing a pretty good job!! My Vet has said that he wants to see if it will heal by itself for now rather than book her in for an operation. I now don't have to go back until next week, where as before it was every 2 days!!

He is not going to take the stitches out yet (the ones that have held) so maybe next week.

He is quite amazed that her recovery is so quick (compared to most with the injuries that she had).

So a huge  :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: to you all!!

Thank you to you both, it's been 2 weeks today since the attack but it seems like months - we just want the aloof, 'I'll only come to you IF I feel like it' Rosie back!! Having said that she has been very very affectionate since it all happened. ;D

Hi all

Thought I would give you a small update on Rosie.

I took her back to the Vet on Thursday and he is pleased with her progress. She is going in for her 2nd operation next week and hopefully things will be ok from then. She has started to try and jump up on things which is a nightmare because of the wounds to her stomach and each time I catch her at it, I get the 'cat glare' and furiously wagging tail!! I really don't know why she tries that, she can just about walk let alone jump.

She is now sulking behind the sofa (where I have made a temporary den by pulling it out and blocking the entrance with a door). She is very good at staying there when we are at home, but manages to get out when we are out, so shopping is limited to about an hour!!
