Title: Black and White long haired cat found in garforth near Leeds
Post by: pussycats on March 10, 2012, 11:08:02 AM
I've been feeding this very loving cat for a while now she's in need of urgent vetinary care and needs to be checked for a chip but am unable to get her into a cat carrier and am not getting any response from cat rescues about the loan of a cat trap. I really want to help her.

Hi and   :welcome:  to the forum

We have members here from Leeds - I think it is Cats Protection from Adel - is that near you ?

Good luck catching this puss

Thanks for trying to help this little one ... have you had a look on this site to see if s/he is listed as missing.

Thankyou Sam for the link I looked through it and she wasn't any of the ones listed unfortunately, it's so heartbreaking reading about all those poor little lost souls and my heart goes out to them and their owners

Hi Yvonne,

Adel is about 12 miles from me and I don't have transport, I did borrow a trap last year for a cat I was fostering and he got out! Thankfully I caught him and I managed te re-home him, I think it was Leeds Feline Friends  and they brought the trap out to me I know they are very busy.

Bless you for caring.

Here's a list of rescues who may be able to help - there may be some you've not tried.

If puss is ill then I would think rescues should see this as a priority and a vet should also help.    Best of luck and let us know how you get on.
