Title: Christmas is Saved!
Post by: Sootyca on December 20, 2012, 16:07:57 PM
I promised Robbie some Webbox Festive Sticks except I can't find them anywhere!  They are turkey and sausage flavour and are special Christmas ones.  Last year they were in Sainsburys but we haven't got a Sainsburys nearby and my other source, Poundworld, is all out!

Has anyone spotted them anywhere?

Ironic really as the place they are made is no more than 5 minutes from my work! May resort to ringing them and see if I can pay online and collect them!!!

:omg: we can't have Robbie's Xmas ruined!

According to the website they're available in Mozzas and PAH - do you have either of those nearby? I'm close to a Mozza's so if no joy locally can see if they have them in my local Mozza'a for you.

You can buy a 25 pack (of 6!) on their website but have a feeling Robbie would go off them before you got to the end of the stash  :evillaugh:

*And back for a limited time only - Festive Sticks with Turkey & Sausage (Available in selected Morrisons and Pets at Home stores)

Never thought of Morrisons!  Will head there tomorrow - fingers crossed.  PAH definitely don't have them as I keep looking.  I am loathe to buy 25 packs of them - at one a day he will really hate them and the other 2 won't eat them!

Webbox festive stick hunt update:

No sightings in very large Tesco store however dreamies were on 4 for £3 so the boys are pleased I went down that aisle to look :evillaugh:

LMAO. See Robbie's ruined Christmas will make Lu and Riley happy!

No sight nor smell of Webbox Christmas sticks.    He has normal webbox but they aren't the same - he won't tear your fingers off for the normal ones!  Couple of places to check tomorrow if I have time but resigned to the fact that he isn't going to have any Festive Sticks this year.

I'll check my local Mozza's next time I'm in there  :shify:

Sound yummy and hope Robbie gets some - suppose I'd better add to Bonnie's collection of Dreamies and get to Tesco  ;) :thanks:

Good luck.

Mary

Definitely in Morrisons as I bought some today  ;D  If only I'd seen this before I went I could have got Robbie some while I was there.

I'm heading back to Morrisons tomorrow so will see if they have had a delivery.  can't believe I live in the town where they are made and yet nowhere sells them here.

Festive treat stick hunt update:

Breaking news

I might be able to save New Year for Robbie, if not Christmas! My sis went shopping to Mozza's this morning and I asked her to get me some of these if she saw them. I haven't seen them in the flesh yet but she says she got them (she's not a pet owner though so she might not appreciate the importance of the difference between the festive version and the normal version - although I was quite specific it was the turkey & sausage I was after :crossed: )

Am going round later so will bring the booty back to mine and if you PM where his-Royal-Robbie-ness would like them sent I'll get them posted  ;D

Festive treat stick hunt update:

I have them  :wow: Tell Robbie that Santa's sleigh will be a few days late but that he has set off  ;D

Got a pack for the boys too thinking that if they didn't like them Robbie could have the rest... no chance - Riley nearly had my hand off as he was sucking the entire stick from it's packet  :evillaugh: Poor Lu didn't get a look in and had to be thrown titbits from the stick as Riley was guzzling it and poor Lu couldn't get near.

Swallowing it like a blackbird swallows a worm!

Look at poor little Lu bottom left  :shy:

The pink thing is his tongue

Lol. I'm glad to know it's not just Robbie they affect.  The other flavours he likes but doesn't go mad for - it's only the festive ones that he will tear your hand to shreds for.

Gorgeous pics as ever - poor Lu though.  Hope he got something as well :)

I made sure Lu got his fair share but had to break bits off and throw them for him to eat as Riley just knocked him out of the way when I tried to feed him by hand  :-[ I made the mistake of throwing the wrapper in the living room bin  Within minutes Riley had knocked it over scavenging for the wrapper  :evillaugh:

well Jaffa is clearly in the Robbie and Riley camp - nearly took my finger off!  Mosi wasn't impressed and demanded dreamies instead.

What does Billy think of them? We're they a hit? Riley had a second one yesterday but this time Lu wasn't interested in the bits I broke off for him!

He's not learnt to read and write yet, so I will just have to offer my view. He finished it very quickly and he has that make since he was knee high to a grasshopper. Normally salmon flavour. Seems a contented kitty. :shify:

Maybe it's about time you taught him then  ;) I think they're defo more popular than regular Webbox, although Lu didn't want any from the second stick he can be a bit funny with treats that aren't dreamies/temptations. Riley on the otherhand was still like a rabid wolf and inhaled it without stopping to chew :evillaugh:

Oooh, might have to get a stash as they were very popular with his Royal-Riley-ness :drool;

Sootyca, if they have them in my Mozza's would Robbie like another batch or is he all festive sticked out?!
