anything wicker in my house would last 5 seconds. The wooden ones look like a good idea but it would be necessary to ensure they were well sealed to prevent moisture penetration, especially the end grain. Something to make when I retire - will start a business methinks ... lol

I'm not sure, I'll investigate further. Saw them a few months ago and thought how nice they looked in comparison to big plastic boxes in your living room!

Sorry Gillian, I didn't really read the blurb...just looked at the pretty pictures! :shy:

If you read the blurb, its actually, plastic (to look like wicker) - it says 'It looks and feels like natural cane but, unlike the real thing, does not absorb fluids or odours and can be vigorously scrubbed with soap and water' So no probs if they miss slightly.

Thats a good one too, looks like a nice piece of furniture - I'd be interested in hearing where you can buy it from.
