Hiya
This is our latest foster. Sherry was taken into our vets to be pts. Fortunately, our vet phoned us and said she couldn't do it :Applause: Sherry was very stressed in her old home and developed some behavioural issues which her family became unable to cope with. However, since being in a calmer environment and with a slight change of diet, she is a different cat. Very loving and affectionate and with no sign of any of the problems she was supposed to have. To minimise her stress we think she would be best suited to a quiet, adult only, household, probably an older family or single person where someone is around a lot during the day, with no other pets.
Sherry is a very youthful 11 yr old female, spayed, chipped and to date has had the first stage of her vaccination. She is in excellent condition if a little porky :innocent: and has no discernible health problems.
Homing in West Kent or East Sussex for preference.

Well from what we can gather the household had lots of other pets incl 4 other cats and young children. They also lived on a very busy road. Sherry became very traumatised and stopped toileting outdoors. Unfortunately, because of the other cats and children, a litter tray was not really encouraged so the inevitable happened indoors. When the vet phoned me, all I was told that she was an 11yr old agoraphobic with toileting issues LOL - a real selling point! When I went to collect her the next day I was so pleased to find this friendly, healthy lovely girl. We have changed her diet as she was on dried food only (good quality, tho') to encourage her to be less fearful of pain when using the litter tray. We have had absolutely no problems with her on any score since she has been with us and God bless the vet who had the good sense to phone us late on a Friday evening!
