Title: Fleece Blankets £3.99 at Texaco
Post by: sheilarose on October 22, 2011, 16:36:45 PM
Large fleece blankets £3.99 with any purchase at participating Texaco stations.

Got one in Broughton, Lancs, standard lightweight fleece with cute pawprints, but was pleasantly surprised at the size - 1.2m x 1.5m - covers the top of my sofa on the diagonal.

If you can overlook the politics, these would make great presents for Santa. Also come in black, grey or baby pink (awww).

I'm being dense I'm sure but........ what politics?  Do I need to worry about fleeces or Texaco?  :shify:

Texaco - they have a bad rep (along with most other oil producers) for negligence. You can google this and make up your own mind. My Californian friends have swapped to chip fat diesel because (they say) they can't trust any of the oil companies. Can't bring myself to tell them about the destruction of the rain forests to grow the palms that go to make chip oil, and the inevitable loss of wildlife this deforestation brings.

Here's an example  :(

The blankets are brilliant though, I've been back for another since  :sneaky:

That is why i have not used these petrol stations in about 10 years.  Not resorted to chip oil yet though
