Hello all
I am posting this ont he of chance of anyone being able to help. In the last few weeks we have taken in so many strays with major problems that we are virtually bursting at the seams. However, in time all can be sorted except our dear Isaac.
If anybody has read my previous post under FIV, Isaac has been living under a car for many months and fed dog food on the odd occassion. He is a lovely white and black puss that is still abit scruffy, but Isaac has FIV. He is in our emergency pen at the moment and we had hoped to move him to a indoor fosterer. Troube is with all the other strays in our care including a pregnant mum this is just not ahppening. Isaac needs a home on his own to get used to people. He has not been touched or handled yet, but is talked to and seems to be doing fine now we have his tummy sorted out with sensitive food. He is due to go back to the vets for 2nd van in 2 weeks time. However, after that we really want to find him a person that has some experience of FIV and would be willing to give him a chance at a life, after the horrid experience he had up to know. Isaac needs someone with patience who realises he is not going to roll over and be ticked for a long time (if ever) but the longer he is in a pen without some kind of socialisation the worse and logner this will take. He is quite happy in a pen and enjoys looking outside but not fussed about escaping yet! We reckon is is not more then 4 yrs old, but so hard to tell.
If you live in a flat or near a busy road and love cats to bits, Isaac could become a cat worth hellping.
Considering I was the person who picked poor Isaac up I am doing my utmost to see if we can give him an enjoyable life. He has started grooming himself as of late and is abit better in that no hisses come your way, but we have yet to stroke him or handle him.
Is anyone out their prepared to be Isaac's Guardian Angel!
We do have abit of time, but in the belieft that we should start to work out a plan B know I have posted this.
Isaac is like Humphrey a case that deserves a chance and I for one am desperate to make sure he is at least given a chance of a happy life.
