surely this site is a joke site, the other sections are far too funny- " Bad enough we have witches but now Dumbledore is queer"   and the emo rant.
it could be taken literally by some though i guess?

I think the post you are refering to is rather tongue in cheek itself if i'm not mistaken  ;)

I thought that too  :evillaugh: I thought it looked like the Daily Tory Mail letters page  :evillaugh:

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Ela - Get a life!! Im sick of what 'is' and 'is not' acceptable on websites.

Cat carrier has the name 'joe-ks.com' listed so it is humour over cruelty Lighten up!

I wouldn't have said this was a cruelty post ... just a post about narrow minded idiots.

Because we have had members contact us about the cruelty posts , we have put up a guideline,  not to stop the cruelty posts but to add a warning to the title so other members who do not want to read about cruelty are warned. That's all. Posts are still allowed.  Web links to extreme cruel sites where we can't help and are just posted  to shock will be looked at and edited if nessessary.

I have unlocked the thread and it is your choice to view the link or not.

It is very difficult to please all members so we try to find a half way mark.  :)

I thought that anything that was cruel or horrible to read where we could do nothing about it was now frowned upon.
Also the Cat carrier if only a  joke is not funny.

To be honest I feel that we have seen enough and perhaps it is not in keeping with new purrs guidelines. Then again as a peasant who I am to think anything.

   :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Sorry how is it not in keeping with the guidelines ?

Sorry, I only read half of it before laughing at it. It's scare-mongering at its worst. My mum is a devout Christian (C of E) and will readily admit to preferring cats to dogs - she certainly doesn't view them as "the eyes of Satan!" Talk about extremist, these people need mental specialists and they need them now!

   What complete and utter idiots .... I know it's not suppose to be funny but this made me laugh:  Cats try to kill babies, they wait for opportune moment and then sit on the babies face and suffocate them or take the babies breath away.

What complete and utter rubbish.
