Title: Weed killer that isnt harmful to cats?
Post by: Queen-Penguin on July 25, 2008, 04:17:47 AM
I need to kill some weeds in my window garden. What the best thing to use that wont harm Menue and all the other cats that go there?

You are going to hate me, but that the best way is to uproot each one, taking care not to leave any of the root system behind.  No nasty chemicals for any of you.

PS yes, this is what I do myself  ;)

Me? Gardening?  Suppose I could do this... I am currently growing a 2ft dandelion! Mine you, the snails might like it!!

Gardening is done! And snails happily munching on dandelion! Got pricked by a stupid thistle! Im sure it's left barbs in my hand!

Now, if anyone local is a good gardener, I would love to employ your services to plant some nice flora and fauna for me! I can't pay in cash but I make superb cups of tea and coffee and I bake "buy" lovely cakes!!

errrrrrrrrrrrm the fauna usually arrives on its own legs or wings, or slime trail ... Flora, on the other hand - a punnet of petunias gives a good colourful and long-lasting display ...
