Hi ya WooWoo,
Sorry I'm not from the Lakes either (I'm Nottingham). Glad to have you on board though and of course now we know where you are we'll all be coming up for a visit ... you live in a beautiful part of the world :Luv2:

You're welcome to come and visit!! Plenty of cats to cuddle up here! ;D
-
Hello woowoo, I'm not from "The Lakes" I'm from way down south, about as far south as you can be without being in the sea :)
-
Hiya Woowoo - :welcome: Am not from the Lakes, but I've been quite a lot! :wow: Sometimes rent a little cottage in Silverdale in the southern lakes. :)
-
Silverdale is nice. Have you been to the Wolf Gallery? I must go one of these days. Never get time though! ;)
-
OOOh yes - it's fab - in fact where I was staying, you just turn out of the cottage, out of the gate and it's there! The cottage is in the grounds of Wolf House, adjacent to the gallery. It's a wonderful place. ;D
-
Oh my I used to go to the Wolf Gallery way back when.....in fact thinking about it we're talking 39 yrs or so :-[
I love the lakes and would love to live there but sadly im stuck in manchester
love
Tab
-
Ah but Tab - when you win the lottery, you won't have far to move your stuff from Manchester to the Lakes! ;) :wow:
-
Hey Tab you only have to jump on the train! It stops nearly opposite my house! I could wave as you go past to Windermere!!
-
I'm from mighty Morecambe and going up to Kendal for my mum's wedding next week (she moved there not so long ago).
In Derbyshire now though. Ho hum...
-
I took two kittens in from Morecambe recently. The people left a bit to be desired!
Have you seen the Midland, it looks gorgeous! There is a lovely book out on it.
Is your Mum getting married in Kendal? Cos on Sat there is the annual cat show at the Leisure centre, if you could sneak off!!! :naughty:
-
I'm from Preston and will be popping up to the Kendal cat show on saturday ;)
-
I'm only going to see if there are any bargains for the rescues!!! ;D
-
Na, sadly I won't be there in time. I haven't been to Morecambe for a while, largely due to having an insane ex there! Glad to hear the Midland is finally getting the love it so desperately need for such a long time.
I'll be popping in to Torrisholme to visit my Grandma so I might just nip to the front and have a nosey.

Hope you got to the cat show today. I spent too much as usual  Lots of gorgeous cats :Luv2: Quite fancied a Maine Coon!!!
-
Yep battled through the wind and the rain!!
I was mainly around the persians and kept a woman I know company who was showing her persian - who ended up winning best persian of the show! He is beautiful and called Candyman - a stunning cream and white bicolour :Luv:
( I spent £80!! :shify: )
-
It was a bit damp wasn't it! Still we wouldn't have the Lakes otherwise ;D I spent close on £100, but most of it was for the rescues :Luv2:
-
Meant to say the cats were beautiful. Had a look at the Persians. Even my friend who is not a cat person fancied a little Exotic. It was cute in a kind of way that only a mother could love!!!
-
Was it a little black one ?
-
It was a little grey and apricot I think! Did see two black Persians which were really adorable. :Luv2: I'd love a long haired cat, my heart was sold on a Maine Coon boy :Luv2: I look after quite a few Persians and they are so laid back, really cuddly :Luv:
