I have been looking after a female tabby cat thats been hanging around since at least August 2009, i made her a box to go in to keep warm and dry. It looks like she has been in a rta as she drags her back legs and moves very slowly i think maybes she has been hit by a car and got scared and lost her way home and her injuries have never been treated. I can't afford vets fees as i don't work, i have tried cats protection they can't help i have also tried to get her in a cat carrier to go to the vets to see if she is chipped but that scared her too much and she got stressed. Please can anyone help shes a lovely cat and needs a loving caring home and so desperately needs vet attention i have a photo of her if anyone wants to see what shee looks like. Please help me help her :'( :scared: :( thank you

-
So pleased to hear this.

Just waiting for Carol to contact me to say the cat is back as was roaming earlier, and got her safe in a carrier :)
-
Well Done Andrea for helping this little girl out! :wow:
-
This little girl is now safely tucked up in my spare room
Carol contacted me this afternoon to say she had got her in the cat carrier so i dashed over to Nottingham and brought her home with me,Andrea was unavailable at the time
She is a lovely little dark tabby, with a lovely purr that never stops
The injury to her back legs looks like an old one, perhaps a rta that was never treated but she walks fine except for a slight dip in her back end, but has no trouble climbing and is certainly not in pain
She is staying with me till next weekend when she will go to Andrea

Thanks Sandra for stepping in and collecting her.
She sounds so adorable bless her :Luv2:

Might not make it to you next week :evillaugh: as i have a thing about tabbys :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
and why are there no piccies on this thread?
are you afraid of competition for this little one, Bonnielass :shify:
-
Hahaaa, I think Sandra is trying to keep her hidden away so everyone doesnt jump and fight for her :wow:
-
No competion, I HAVE HER :evillaugh:
Will try and get pics tomorrow, right now shes fast asleep in her bed after having had a plate of chicken and 10mns of fussing her, she is the sweetest little cat going, someone is going to be very lucky to have her :Luv:
-
I think she's already been very lucky - first by Carol taking pity on her, then Sandra for taking her under her wing, and finally Andrea for making room for her in RACR
who is going to give her a name?
-
Not sure yet. Maybe we could ask members for some suggestions once we have a picture :)
-
:thanks: Sandra for giving her a second chance she is a lovely cat and i am going to miss her soooooo much, i just wish i could have taken her in but my grumpy male cat would note agree with me! When i was shouting her to give her food i called her "little cat" and "tabbatha" also sometimes "tinkerbell" so shes a cat of many names but if had the chance to name her i would call her "Purdy" she does have a lovely loud purr! Please keep me updated with her progress im already missing her but i know shes got a second chance now and that makes my heart glow. xxx
