If you think of it though even 7 month old (what we still call kitten's) can be mum's if unspayed, she must have a natural mothering instinct towards him!  :Luv2:

He does love her so much. When she was on cage rest he slept by her cage and when she finally got out he was so excited he was bouncing off the walls! When he was a baby she mothered him so much, even though she was only 7 months old herself. He's always seen her in that light I think.
