Woodlands - my bed is too full of cats for chickens. Last night the total was 3 adult and 1 kitten (mine) 1 adult and 2 kitten (foster) and a small dog! I sleep in what little space is left :rofl: No wonder I wake up some mornings with chronic back ache.


Blackcat - the chicken house is a cottage type, with the house upstairs and the run underneath. It is sited in a big foxproof run, so I leave the pop hole open in the very hot weather overnight so the air can circulate and the girls just get themselves up in the morning when ready. It is a bit of a pain to clean out, so I intend to get a shed and convert it when I need a new one.

Glad to see I`m not the only one whose cat has an identity crisis!!

This is my Freddie, who in a former life was a chicken! Just checking out the new house for the girls! He does love to sleep in the nest box, to the absolute disgust of the girls!
