Hobbles, thank you for being my gentle, clever, smart and loving friend for almost 16 years.  I am so sorry I had to make that decision today, I couldn't bear to see your pain, and i knew you wanted it to stop.  I hope you meet mum now,  she will be pleased to see you, its been a long time since she last held you.  Please pop by to visit me, even if i cant see you, i will know you are there.  Goodbye my friend.

At the bridge now, Hobbles, no more pain or discomfort. 

Hugs to you, Joeys, at this very sad time.  Hobbles would be grateful you had the courage to make the decision you did, though the pain it caused you was immense.
