What a selection of gorgeous little faces, they're all cute but Theo is just gorgeous  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

Who is this imposter Riley though? I thought I had the only Riley on here (right hand side of my signature) then Nicola joined a few weeks ago with Riley 2 and now we have Riley 3, they're all coming out of the woodwork  :evillaugh:

you can put them in your introductory message or just in general chatting about non-cat stuff. Shadow usually manages to sneak into the cat sections cos my cats use him as a trampoline

Thanks for the comments, my boys send headbutts  :Luv:

Do we have an "Other Pets" section or where should I post doggie pics? I am dog-mad!

Would love to see pics of the Doggies as well ... we are very welcoming here and like all furries.

It seems such a long time ago that he was given the nickname, I think we just used to call him "Finley Pie" and it eventually shortened to just Pie - he even answers to it!

The Boys
« Reply #1 on: November 24, 2007, 12:11:49 PM »
Our cats are all boys. Let me introduce them.

First up is Finn, also known as "The Pie" (I have no real idea why now!)

Finn is 7.5 years old and the only one of our boys that goes out. He came to us as a stray tom cat in early 2002, who needed a broken & infected toe amputated and neutering. He ended up getting cat flu pretty bad and needed a few weeks of treatment, in which time I fell in love with him and decided to bring him home - my first pet of my own after getting my own flat. I tried at first to make him a housecat but sometimes you just can't take the tom out of the cat and he just is not happy confined. Thankfully we moved house within a year of adopting him so he could enjoy our garden, though we don't let him out at night or unless one of us is home. He is quite grumpy and often lays down the law with our other pets, enjoying his place firmly as Boss in the family. He loves my hubby and sleeps most of the night on him.

Next is Riley O'Smiley

Riley is 5 years old and was abandoned at my work after his former owners did not want to pay their bill! He is a little monkey at times and full of character. He always has something to say and loves his food. He likes to groom beards and heads, and his best friend is my oldest dog.

Then there's the twins, Mackenzie & Theo, aka "The Mook" & "The Took"
Mackenzie is tabby longhaired, and Theo is buff shorthaired.

They were dumped on a construction site in a cardboard box at approx 4 weeks of age, and we brought them home to rear. They are now 4 years old. They are both very large and handsome boys with very different personalities. Mackenzie is sweet, laid back & affectionate whereas Theo is more hyper, active and playful. They both get on fantastic with my dogs and constantly amuse us with their funny ways. Theo suffers from idiopathic cystitis and is on Cystaid for life which is doing very well for him.
