Such a long time but love you as much as ever my Kocka  :hug: :hug:

I hope you are having a party on the Bridge and you will eat something for me, a sausage maybe  ;D

I have so many wonderful memories of you, especially the sausage incident which I am sure you remember  ;D

You would be about 25 yrs young now but bet your grey fur still is lovely.

I hope you have made friends with Napoleon and know you dont like other cats but he is very friendly and likes most cats.

I dont know where the last year has gone but its flown past and been so wet and cold but hope up there on the Bridge its been just warm and wonderful.

I am early this year and wishing you a happy day on the Bridge.  So long since you moved there.

Ducha , Napoleons brother is now up there with you too, half my family on the Bridge and hope you have met him.

A friend of mine called Rosella has a cat who came to the Bridge yesterday, she is called Millie, please look after her and show her how to send a rainbow to her meowmy who misses her loads.

As I am sure you know I love you with all my heart and will never forget you, I have found some more pictures of you since last year, including one of you rushing down the garden here! Its very different now with loads of hiding places and yesterday loads of butterfies and am sure like Lupin you would have loved it.

I know you have never met Lupin but I am sure you have seen him being a monster and have laughed along with Napoleon at his antics  ;D

Oh Kocka just a few of these tonight  :( :(

It will be 9 years next week and tonight is a beautiful warm night with no dew yet and about this day 9 years ago we had a night BBQ cos the weather was just like tonight.

Its the only BBQ I have ever had here and somewhere in the distance there is a bonfire and the smell brought back all the memories.

You wouldnt like Misa Sasa and Lupin but am sure they would have all tried to love you  :hug: :hug:

You will be 29yrs old in a month and so hope you are happy and having fun on the  the Bridge.

I will be back next week for your anniversary my little grey one

Gill I never knew Kocka. But I know the pain of losing a beloved pet. People say they are with you in spirit. Yes of course they are. The spirit and the love never dies. But it was the material body we knew and loved when they were with us in this life. And it is that material body we mourn. That warm furry body we so miss. People always say time heals. What they don't tell you of is the scar left on your heart. Time never heals that. But the memories of the love you shared can never be taken away. They do not leave a scar, they only leave the joy.
