Even with the right tool for the job it'd still come out looking like some of those bookends that I made in woodwork class at school, I found them when I was clearing out my mum's place last year, what a haunting experience, I thought they dissapeared long ago only to return and haunt me. More than thirty years have gone by since I made them and they still have no functional use although maybe they might just possibly qualify as pieces of abstract sculpture, but I guess, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

No, my woodworking skills reached a "zenith" of "naffness" in 1975 and I wish to spare myself, the cats and my friends, from the embarrassment of seeing how the passage of time has not improved the quality of my handywork.

PS. I did, in a moment of sheer madness once buy a cordless drill, it has never been out of the box but I might try and find a whisking attachment for it and turn it into a high speed electronic kitchen whisk as that's the only thing that I can think of using it for

Obviously - what you need is a hole saw, one of those circular saw blades that you attach to your power drill. The come up to 2 inches across and you can usually buy them in sets at places like Wickes for very little money (if you are not going for quality, which of course would be unneccessary if you only plan to use them once).

Sounds like i may have been miss quoted so have left a message how ever depends how it works out had a quote for 3 boxes
didn't know they were quite that heavy to be able to send on in UK may prove push the price up too much Looks like 15 pounds p+p to post on within the UK Unless i can arrange to have supplier send direct to buyer from us which i have done before can work out cheaper

If i can arrange this this price will be 24 pounds each including P+P which is a bit steep

and a shame still might get one my self though

The type of design is patented, anything similar and sold would probably be bordering on infringement. They are fab though.

Thats great i was trying to get these for the shop but it they are heavy so worked pretty expensive to ship from USA. This is what me supplier Dave in USA said re the shipping of them:-

Okay, I weighed my Peek-N-Prize and without its minimal packaging, it is 4lbs 10oz. Factor in a box and packaging for shipping and you can at a good 8oz to 1lb. That pushes just 1 unit to about $40 give or take $4. Assuming 4 shipped together comes in at 21lbs, you are looking at about $90 to ship them, not including insurance and such. Are you sure you have an interest in something so heavy? The smaller one I did not like, it was too small to interest the cats.

Wonderer if you what prices you would have hun to get them in?
