Helen please advise boys I am very disturbed that I made them cry (oop) but if they are really good I can send their mum leftover rolls I have here! ;)

The boys would like to thank you for your kind offer and say that they now forgive you for iignoring their Mum's original plea!  I have alerted the media to their cause and they will be putting out an appeal for - 'bog roll for the boys'  :evillaugh:  I already have 5 kindly donated from friends and family (who are now convinced I am mad) so only 10 to go  :wow:  I go through toilet roll a rate of knots, my Mum always used to moan that I was wasteful  :innocent:  Also what with Riley's water fetish I am going through kitchen roll just as fast mopping up all his spills so should have the pyramid built in no time  ;D

thats fantastic, i think i'll have to make one for the codster  :sneaky:

With the amount of toilet roll we go through here i should have it made by tonight  :evillaugh:

I dread to ask this.. maybe I shouldn't.... but why do you go through so much toilet roll? Is the answer really  or is your fetish for keeping the roll pull next to the wall getting the better of you? :evillaugh:

Just fab Ruth  :Luv:

Think I'd need to buy all the toilet roll in Tescos to make some for my lot  :evillaugh:

We should start a "Donate Loo Rolls for Bengals" campaign :evillaugh:

How did you manage to post the video !?

I just uploaded it to photobucket and added the IMG code here.  Easy. But took an hour to upload the video as its 67MB.

Aw Helen did you?  How did I miss that!  Tan started the thread me thinks.

Thanks all for the kind words. Lexy is delicate with the toy however....

She tips it over if she gets bored with the game :evillaugh:  I didn't post that video!

As for narration yes I am a crazy cat mum who does waddle wabble baby talk!

Helen please advise boys I am very disturbed that I made them cry (oop) but if they are really good I can send their mum leftover rolls I have here! ;)

Loved the video, bless Lexy for being so delicate with her new toy  :Luv: Like Ruth says the commentary was fab too  :evillaugh:

Lukey and Riley are sitting here with soggy faces though  :'(  I started a thread ages ago asking who had said about saving toilet rolls to make a some kind of super duper toy and you didn't reply, I had about 20 saved and used a couple for their box but threw the rest away.  Will have to start saving them again  ;D

Cool, I love this idea!
Our toilet roll tubes go in the recycling so I should have tons in there. Can just picture Tigger taking a running jump and squashing the whole thing though  :-:

Think I'll have to make one of those for Maxy, although I have a feeling that he won't be quite so delicate as Lexy, and will just pull the whole thing over to get the treats more easily  :evillaugh:

Make custom Glitter Graphics

:thanks: Lexy is a good girl. Most of the time. But when it comes to food my girl doesn't mess about!  Of course I must question how bright she is if she falls for the treat thing so easily. Either that or she's very clever and just knows a good thing when she sees it!  :evillaugh:

I now need to find another project

Hi Tanni

Well it took forever and I landed up using kitchen roll too just cut in half. I used craft dots to hold it together that I use for cards and stuff.  It seems like an age! Oh and I also got about 4 rolls from other people  :evillaugh:  I don't use that much bog roll so tooooooook fooooooorever!

Anyway here is the video.  I put the triangle on floor and put 4 treats in around it and here is madam collecting each one. I love the first one she gets. Makes me giggle each time.  This is now our nightime activity, but I use her dry food to get her to eat it!  :ok:

Well, I finally managed to collect enough bog rolls to make the triangle. In the Basic Health section I read that you can encourage indoor cats to hone their hunting skills by making them this little pyramid (well more 2-dimensional) and hiding treats in it.

I have a video uploading right now, taken me ages to do it, but once its up will share. In the meantime here is my madam sniffing the camera whilst I a was trying to get a decent pic of the thing to show you.

 :Luv:
