Tom is now resting peacefully in my Mums back garden.

He looked so peaceful and beautiful, I'm so glad I didn't get the p/m, I needed to see him like that for the last time, un-touched and beautiful <3

I probably wouldnt have gone with a pm either sarah and with your own medical knowledge you probably know that some sort of congenital hereditory problem was the cause..that doesnt make it any easier for you though just now.

THank goodness you have the other two too keep you going just now and i'm sure they will be great giving you lots of hugs knowing their mummy is so upset.

I am so so sorry to hear this, but think you are doing the right thing by not doing a pm, just remember him as being peaceful. IT is so much harder to deal with when it is unexpected like this, and I Can't imagine how much worse it is when they are so young. WE are all here for you though, will be thinking of you, and RIP little one.

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine - the vet suspected heart problems.

the vet phoned.

he said there are no outright signs as to what could have caused this and without a p/m they won't be able to give a specific diagnosis.
he said it's more than likely been an undiagnosed cardiac problem, maybe a murmer.

i don't want him to do the p/m, i would like to bury him and see him before i do it and i don't want his wee body to be disturbed so i'd rather they didn't do it. i will go and pick my baby up later on and let him rest peacefully.

mark - he was only 9 months
