Poor Poot  I don't have any advice, I'm afraid.  Perhaps some rescue remedy in his water?

Our landlords have insisted that the top floor is redecorated, so I have a terrified Poot at home right now

Ever since a friend came to stay a few months ago the doorbell has totally freaked him out, and friends that he used to be fine with he now just runs and hides  :(

We've shut him in the kitchen as this is the only room in the house with a door which can be closed at all times, and its where his food and litter trays are anyway.

He hates anyone coming to the house, and this is really going to be hard on him.

I've got a Feliway spray which I've been squirting around the house, but does anyone have any other ideas on what we can do?

We can't both be in the house all the time due to work commitments  :'(

Would appreciate your good Pooty vibes that this doesn't set him back too far  :-[
