I am hoping this will be my last update on this thread  :shify: :shify:

Franta has not used the tray today yet so am hoping this means his tummy is sorted, or very nearly sorted.

I didnt get much sleep cos Franta was on one side and Ducha was on the other but Ducha does not like reduced space and was objecting.

I was stopped from sleeping by moaning and meowing,,,,,,,,,,,,,think it was Ducha and he decided that Franta was not ill any more so games could happen.

He was hiding and pouncing on Franta who at one point rushed at million mph across the bed to hide followed by Ducha and the pair of them were flying around the bedroom, landing and bathroom like lunatics. Franta seemed to have no illl effects from this and it also didnt cause him to need the tray  ;D

This is two nearly 16 year old cats, one with 3 legs and the other who has been very seriously ill and as of yesterday still had an upset stomach!

I was woken up far to early cos Franta wanted food and he forced me to get up and then followed me downstairs and back up, so I nearly trod on him on the stairs. He is still spending most of his time in the bedroom but when you look into his eyes he looks straight back and more like the old Franta. I feel he is still a bit wobbly on his legs but only when he moves slowly

I have even had a few bass purrs from him, he is not a purrer but its lovely when he does  ;D

I am almost scared to do this but think that some of these should dance away  ;D

:yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy:

Yes he is also doing quite a lot of this

and doing this at me when he is lyin in my bed  :cat laugh:

 :really:

He says he is a cool cat now and thanks for all your good wishes :cat chat:

Have just spoken to the vets and he says lacto b right way to go and should start to work in 48hrs,,,,,,,if Franta still not improving by Monday to go in and he will give me a kaolin type paste for cats which will help to bind him but he preferes the lacto b as he thinks thats the best option....the other is a last resort.

Off to art5 group and Misa is being very naughty at moment!

waiting for the vet to ring me back cos think I need to check with him about Frantas tummy which started just over a week ago.......it seems so much longer!

Its started about when the abs would be out of his system but possible cleaned out his poor tummy by then.

He has ahd more Lacto B this morning and apart from ponging the house out again, he is not quite as bad as the last tray useage :shify:

He used to like licking the remains of the milk from round my weetabix but wont do it any more and also wont touch the weetabix LOL.

think I will have to stick with the Lacto B and if it carries on will have to speak to the vet cos he has been like this but not as bad for about a week and a half but seems longer.

Lets hope tomorrows lacto B actally helps

My vet suggested weetabix - can be mixed in with his normal food to bind them .
I tried it on Winston a couple of times and it seemed to work , even though i didn't think he would eat weetabix -with or without his food in it but he did.
Also i gave some with some warm milk to Fifi when she had tooth /abcess problems and wouldn''t eat and she had some of that too - is it worth a try ?

I did actually give Jaffa a dose in the morning and a dose in the evening (slightly smaller than a scoop each time so probably about one and a half doses per day).

First time I used lacto b, it took about 3 days for it to work, but I have heard it can be longer and sometimes things can even get a bit worse before they get better.  Fingers crossed it will work quickly for Franta

Franta has had first dose of Lacto B this morning, so am keeping fingers crossed it works well and quick for him.  :wish:

He has slept well and been out again in the garden this morning, along with Ducha, so I think that this is all promising and he was looking smug lying on my bed about an hour ago and that is also good cos he seemed to be looking at me so sad before  ;D

Franta sounds so much better! Wonderful. No idea on dosage, sorry, just wanted to say how pleased I am he's better (except for the tum, but haring around sounds like it's not bothering him too much). We had about 5 mins sun too - hail forecast for later though.
