Asda's online photo shop are selling mugs and mousemats for ?1.50 for today and tomorrow only. Also 20 Xmas cards for ?5, all of which can be personalised by providing your own photos. I just did it for Diesel and for some of the neighbours' cats, so thought others here might be interested.
The website is http://www.asda-photo.co.uk/
(and I have no incentive to spread this, not any connection to Asda, just I bought myself a mug with Diesel on to take to my new workplace so I can see him lots!)

-
Excellent! Chrissy pressies for my clients of their moglets and doglets a bargain price, thanks for letting us know about it ;D
-
Lovely idea this but having difficulties getting size of photos right. Can't figure out whether to increase or lower the number of pixels when it tells me to increase resolution. Why can't people talk English anymore bah humbug :-[

Just ordered a load, both for me & for Xmas presents. I'm not a big fan of Walmart/Asda but this was too good to miss!
-
Ditto Dave. Finally figured out how to load sufficiently large photos and ended up spending far too much so you can imagine how many mugs and mousemats are coming my way!
-
I have just ordered one with my babes pics. Used the pic the same as under my user name
-
I just noticed I've become afull meber. How did I do that? Yipppeeeeee :wow:

Ive ordered some too...got a bit carried away though Lol...got one for me , OH and one for nanny....the list goes on
-
>:(
I'm trying to work out how to make the picture smaller so that it all fits!!
reduced it loaded it and its the same size and it want to crop the top and bottom. :censored:
-
Ann do you mean on here or on the Asda site?
-
On the Asda site it doesn't matter how big the photo is, it's the shape that matters. If your pic is in portrait format (taller than it is wide) the top and/or bottom will be cropped. Upload a pic in landscape format and you'll have less of a problem. The nearer to 6x4 ratio the better.

yep thanks just worked it out. Squahed up the coventry cat group logo and ordered 30 mugs.
thats a mug for each mug active vounteer as a crimbol pressie and a few spare (well quite a lot spare really - could almost be a set of 4 each!!).
so there you go, all you coventry lot , volunteer for us and I'll give you a mug :brick:
-
On the Asda site it doesn't matter how big the photo is
Correction : the bigger the pic the better, higher resolution. The complete opposite of here!?
-
I reckon Bex should ask Asda for commission ... just think how many of us have gone and ordered a load of mugs after seeing the post!
-
hehe, I was in the middle of ordering my batch and considering getting myself one for every cat we've fostered (before my husband reminded me we just didn't need that many mugs), when I thought other people might be interested in the offer.
Now they just need to make some of the other gifts cheaper!
-
:cheer: loving this site! they do placemats and everything! :wow:
I know where i'll be getting my Christmas pressies this year then! ;D
