What a success story, have really enjoyed reading your posts Sue, how great that she has taken to your son so well :). I have a black and white monster called Ozzie and when my god daughters come to stay he follows them everywhere and even sleeps on the bed with them. He makes me feel really guilty as he looks so depressed when they go home :( look forward to seeing more pictures please of cat and son.

Well looks like Suzy had landed well on her paws at yours!  :Luv2:

She's adorable, Sue, and her relationship with your son is just amazing. Love that they're loving each other already.

Suzy Day 2
[/color]

Yey kitty marbles have landed and a tinkle.. all in the box.. wooooooohooooo

A great 2nd day a really nice welcome when I came downstairs to see the cat (as for now I have her just in living room & kitchen until she settles then she will be able to roam full house

Son is well happy.. both have had their brekkie and are sat together on sofa... it seems I have been banished to the table ..lol
(must get a 3 seater sofa) lol only got a small 2 seater.. I seat for son & 1 for suzy.. so its either floor or sit @ table for me or on a great day beanbag lol

Oh yes and son is happily talking to the cat elling her about his toys etc.. hehe ..

OMG she's gorgeous  :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:  So pleased she has obviously found a completely devoted "slave" and a small human friend to bond with.  I always think it's lovely when kids and cats bond .... you will probably find that Suzy becomes your son's "best friend" and as he gets older she will be his confidant and keeper of secrets  :Luv2:

Suzy is just gorgeous but then I am a total sucker for any combination of black and white cats.

awww thank you all.. hehe the shell shocked could have been me being nawty n taking zillions of pics.. lol couldnt resist...

She is very nervous but at the sametime very very friendly.. Im more nervous about how she will hope with noisy 3 year old who comes home about 4pm from nannies.. Im already hiding all his noisy toys.. (if thats possible as there are so many) lol - am sure all will be fine ..

Yikes 24 hours thats a long time to keep em crossed.. lol .. lets just say I will be happy to see a kitty marble in the box.. lol (thats a 1st for me) actually wanting to see kitty marbles (agh babbling) sorry excited lol..

I really want a glass of wine but that would mean walking to shop and guess what I don't want to leave her alone lol (crikey Im a softie I swear)

PS she also discovered within 5 mins of being here that the kitchen units on one side dont have an end to the bottom part of cabinets and I was terrified cos she crawled in.. (spiders.. images of calling 999 lol) but thankfully the good old 'tap spoon on cat bowl' worked a treat and I have put a box there to stop her crawling in again.. Im expecting to hunt this house more than once in next few weeks where she finds new hiding places lol all part of the fun lol..

PPS sooner or later she will discover the kitchen windowsill and the fact I feed the birds and its like wildlife on one out there n many hours of entertainment.. lol

PPPS I am the luckiest lady on the planet today I truly am  :Luv2:

« Reply #1 on: January 09, 2009, 14:06:03 PM »
At last today I picked up 'suzy' a 2 year old rescue cat from CP - she was found in a shed with a litter full of kittens.. and luckily rescued and finally rehomed..

Sent my son off to nannies for a few hours 'setting in' time for her .. lol and so far she has eaten and made herself very comfy of the duvet on the sofa.. she is very nervous and a bit shakey but enjoys a lovely fuss already which is great cos I think I am enjoying it as much as she is lol.. as yet still waiting for her to use litter box.. yikes .. but fingers crossed as she is already litter trained it wont be too long..

Anyway enough babbling this is her .. (hope this works)
