I thought it was stranger if they weren't bathroom obsessed.

Chilli went through a phase of having to have a drink from the bathroom sink tap while I was on the loo, she just stopped for no apparent reason.

Now Dave comes with me every time and occasionally Chilli will just sit at the door and watch (I live alone so never close any doors).

Ruth, my hubby has often found a kitten or 2 have made a nest in his trousers while he's 'On The Throne'

Lirael used to play a game of jump in my pj bottoms while I was on the loo and jump out again, however she normally would use my leg to jump off of and forget to keep her claws in.

If I leave my clothes on the floor of the bathroom while taking a shower Giz or Smoke will run off with anything with straps, bras, nightgowns etc.

Years ago when my mom was visiting one of the cats stole her bra and put it in the litter box ;)

All the kittens that come from me are bathroom obsessed as that's where i keep them while I tame them.  :sneaky: Some new owners hve mentioned that whenever my ex-kitties are feeling stressed and want to hide from the world for a bit, they can always be found tucked behind the toilet.

Ruth, my hubby has often found a kitten or 2 have made a nest in his trousers while he's 'On The Throne' and been reading the newspaper, so he can sympathise.  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: I'm a bit more wise and use the outside loo for moments of long contemplation if it isn't raining.  :innocent:

Lexy will watch from the door if its open but isn't overly keen to interfere.

I did have a cat when I was younger who used to push open the bathroom door if you were on the loo, usually only if it was me, she would curl around my legs, purr away and then when you got up it turned into a game. Try pulling your knickers up with a cat hanging off them

I also thought initially I had a bathroom obsessed weirdo but here I discovered it is quite typical for spoiled cats :)

I've accidently locked Lirael in the bathroom once and Smoke in there once.

Smoke cried until I came and got her and avoided the bathroom for a week.

Lirael however, turned on the light, tipped the bin over, shreaded the loo roll and basically looked like she had a party.

;)

Certainly not alone, Jess likes the bathroom and sits in the sink but Milo adores it, he sits on the edge of the bath and leans in to play with feet,

Your not alone - either in the bathroom or in what your babe does. I have either one Thai or the Bengal boys  together  Zubin & Zebedee.

Zebedee sneaks in the bathroom alone and helps himself to the loo roll. Once destroyed he exits all inocent  :naughty:

We then find the loo roll terminated and Zeb all happy with his work but a  :innocent: look on his face.

There is always an audience in our house when you go into the bathroom. All 4 cats have to go in with you.

One will sit on the bath tub side as you take a bath and drink the water.

Two will sit there and look confused.

The other will sit in the window and clean herself.

If I keep them out they're all right outside the door waiting, which is kind of cute and just a little creepy ;)

So no, you're not alone

Am i the only person that has a cat obsessed with the bathroom, if we have guests he scratches on the door to let him in.
If i have a bath he scratches to be let in and then drinks half my hot bathwater, sits on the washbasket and watches me take a bath.
If i go to the loo he scratches at the door and even sits on my knee.
He is mad as a hatter, non of the others do it.
If we don't let him in he will scratch and meow
Nobody is allowed to go into the bathroom without him.
