I forgot to tell you that I took Peanut to the vets. The nurse said the sutures were pretty much on their way out, there was a scab (which I may have confused with a stitch!  :evillaugh:) but apart from that, all looked well!

And the extra bonus was they didn't charge me!  ;)

I too have had to have dissolvable sutures removed.  I think a trip to the vet would be worthwhile.

I have had to have dissolvable stitches removed, I would ring the vet and ask how long they should be there before they dissolve.
Please spay your cat

Dissolvable sutures

The RSPCA told me that when Peanut was spayed, the sutures were dissolvable.

She was spayed just over 3 weeks ago but 2 stitches are still sticking out of her side!!!  :-:

Am I wrong in assuming dissolvable sutures would be inside of her, not outside?

Does she need taking to the vet? I'm thinking these remaining 2 need physically removing!
