Give it time. It's hard but sometimes it can take months. Just make sure any contact is supervised but I would probably go back to the start and keep them separate for longer.  Feliway is great for helping with stress too and is recommended for these sorts os situations.
It's hard now but will be worth it in the long run :)

Trying to integrate new cat
« Reply #1 on: October 05, 2008, 10:26:08 AM »
We have adopted a new cat (well he adopted us!)  We have tried to find his owners, and new home, but been two months now. We have tried integrating him with our other cats.  However he is a big male tabby.  We have three girl cats, two timids (well they used to be with us).  He chases them, we think playfully, but I don't think they see it that way!  We have kept him apart, introduced slowly, tried scent transfer, feeding them tasy treats together.

Any other suggestions?
