Something similar happened to Blip a few years ago and it turned out she had been bitten in a cat fight: the pain at the top of her leg was caused by infection causing a swollen gland.  It was easily sorted with antibiotics and painkillers, but just worth keeping that sort of injury in mind as a possibility.

Came in today and both babies were sleeping on the bed, I went to stroke Buddy and he turned around and hissed at me. I think he has hurt his leg as he seems to be hurting at the top of it. He is walking ok on it so maybe just sprained it. He is sleeping at the moment. He was outside this morning and jumped on the wall so probably just fell or something. I shall be keeping a close eye on him for a few days.
