Interestingly when I first got some from my local tesco, they had some of the turkey ones at the original price further along the shelf.

I suppose there was nothing to stop Tesco reformulating them using cheaper ingredients

does anyone have a tray at the old price to compare with the current ones?

I wondered that as well, maybe they just re priced them, I hope so because she is very keen on them and has stopped eating the purely pouches

They are still stocking the shelves in the tesco I use.  I buy 8 every time I go in and have quite a stash now  ;D  They don't look as though they are being discontinued but it is a bit mysterious.  That's a huge price drop for no apparent reason (unless they weren't selling at the higher price).

only 10? I had never tried them before until this thread - now I have 40 of each in my cupboard and a self-satisfied Russkie who has succeeded once again in fooling me >:(

fortunately I now have Tosker, the feline waste disposal unit, who has yet to turn his nose up at anything edible :Luv2:

I just got back from Tesco and bought the last 25 trays of Lamb - I left the Turkey one on the shelf. Clapton loves the lamb one. I have found that if I mix 1/2 tray in with a pouch of renal, he will eat it. I also add 1/2 scoop of ipakitine. It really smells like proper lamb - the smell makes me want to hurl

My boys have become a bit fussy over the past few years due to too much variety  :-[  However, I've discovered that if they go off something, it does usually come back in favour after a short break (unless it's natures menu!).  I had it in my head that jaffa didn't like the lamb ones so bought mainly the turkey, then I tried him with the lamb and he devoured it like it was the best food ever.  He seemed less keen on the turkey.  They are both eating both flavours with gusto at the moment so let's hope it lasts.

I won't get any more turkey ones - if I remember rightly, he wouldn't eat them when I tried them the last time. The lamb however is going down a storm.

I went to another tesco and they had loads.  The one near work is down to a few lamb ones now though.  Not been in this week though to see if they have any more in.  My boys are eating a lot of this right now as I'm out of zooplus stuff and they both like it.

I think they are discontinuing these.  They used to be 54p here but I noticed they were 22p.  I have bought out my loca tesco  ;D and plan to visit another one at the weekend to see if they have any left.  Jaffa and Mosi like these and they are great quality for that price.

I noticed today they were 22p each, thought this seemed cheaper so have stuck it on here  ;D

They were 59p before. I think sometimes they quietly discontinue stuff.
