At first he wouldn't let Jaffa in it

But when he got out Jaffa grabbed his opportunity

I love those cat tents. I really want to get one but not sure I can jutify another bed in case they don't use it or outgrow it.
Mosi looks gorgeous! Is that his summer coat he's in now or has he just lost some of his fluffiness because he's maturing?
I think it's sooo cute that Mosi and Jaffa match colour wise :Luv: Gorgeous boys :Luv:
-
thats fab susanne. I know someone who'd luv it too :evillaugh:
I luv how jaffa is sniffing it after mosi been in, ya think he's trying to tell us mosi smells
Now next mission is pic of them in there together ;D
-
It's his summer coat. He's been moulting big time over the past month and his tail, ruff etc have really thinned out. I'm sure he'll be all fluffy again come winter! He is actually fluffier than he looks in the pic which is something I've noticed about somalis. They can look almost short haired in photos but when you see them in the fur they've much fluffier ;D He's also not fully grown yet so doesn't have his full adult coat.
edited to add - It was very funny, Lynn, cos Mosi just wouldn't let Jaffa in it! He swiped at him whenever he tried (there's room for both of them). When it was empty Jaffa went in and Mosi wasn't happy about that but Jaffa wasn't giving up possesion of it! I think it will be mainly Mosi's though as he loves it. When the novelty has worn off I think I'll put a fleece in the bottom so that he can use it as a bed.

He is an absolute stunner, they both are oh and the tent is cool too.

:Luv :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: Gorgeous boys

Lovely pics Suzanne :Luv: :Luv:
Benglies would love a tent like that - where did you get if from?
-
Ahhh right I guessed it was his summer coat but thought I'd ask seeing as I don't know anything about Somalis except they are long haired Abys. He'll be even more gorgeous when he's fully grown and got a big adult coat :Luv:
-
It was from ikea, Linda - only £4.99! ;D
Charlotte - somalis are probably the most short haired of the semi long haired breeds, if you get what I mean! There is also quite a bit of variety in coat length too. Obviously they all have the fluffy tail, breeches, bit of a ruff etc. but some of them are quite short haired. Mosi's grandmother on his mum's side was a somali variant (so short haired) and his mum has fairly short hair (for a somali) so Mosi may not be the longest haired somali on the block.

but one of the cheekiest :evillaugh: & we lurve cheeky boys. :Luv:
Linda you no need one for the benglys, you'll need atleast 2 :evillaugh: Me thinks you get a pink one too :innocent:

Thats if its still standing!

Oh definitely one of the cheekiest! And I wouldn't have him any other way.
He's asleep in his tent at the moment :)
-
Gorgeous ...Mosi is looking lush as ever ...love the fact that Jaffa eventually got his turn what a gent he is two actually wait for the diva to finish prancing about it !
-
Mosi was very funny with it last night. He'd be playing with something else but if he noticed Jaffa going into his tent he'd be over there in a flash telling him to get out  They had a few little skuffles inside it!
-
Brill pics Susanne ;D
I love the way that Jaffa got his turn in the end :evillaugh:
Your boys are so handsome :Luv: you must be such a proud Mum :)
-
He's still enjoying his tent! And if he gets bored of going inside it he can find a multitude of other ways to play with it ;D

Gorgeous love it !!
-
luv your ginger puds, especially way tent magnifies Mosi's magnificent profile in blue ;D
at least it didn't cost too much and they're both using it - we bought one of those catnip bubble guns at the w/end and it's bloomin useless - every time you use it they both leggit as it makes a really loud whirring noise >:( why are my puddies such wusses? Now all we've got is a balcony covered in bubble mix - but 'pose it keeps the OH amused - :evillaugh:
I have the Pet Planet site bookmarked and it's hard not to go mad and order the expensive stuff when you know all they really want is another £2.99 feather tickler that they can rip apart in 10 minutes. Last time the sitting room liked like a canary massacre!
-
cody is very jealous of mosi susanne :evillaugh:
-
I dont think that Codi is not the only jealous one ;)
-
I'm quite impressed with the tent actually. It's still standing despite Mosi's best efforts to trash it
-
 Great pics hun ;D ;D
Now i wouldn't consider that trashing ... just closing it up for the night so Jaff can't use it
-
Mosi seems to be going out of his way to try and trash it though ;D
-

Closing up for the night? That'll be the day when Mosi stops playing cos it's bedtime!
I'm actually very impressed with the tent. He's not broken it yet and it's not for want of trying.
