isn't it funny how knowing the right (or wrong!) person affects how you feel about a name!
-

I was thinking that! I really hate the name Natalie because when I was younger a girl of that name was hideous to me.
-
A friend of ours has a female Birman named Aisha (a-EE-sha). The name has an arabic origin and the meaning is like lively, perky, full of life etc. It has a lovely sound to it, and not overly common.
-
Safina. It means beautiful one or something like that. I read about a lion in a zoo called Safina and have earmarked the name for if I ever have a female cat ;D
-
I still wonder if you're looking for cat names or human kittens ;D
-
Kitty names definately, cant see me having human offspring
-
I've got a Morticia (who is helping me type).
Ayesha is another nice one :) That was the name of She Who Must Be Obeyed in the Rider Haggard books apparently, and that description fits my oldest horse (who is Ayesha) perfectly!
-

Any particular colour? I'm not one for "colour" names usually, but love the name Nyx - which would be for a black female cat. If I remember rightly it's a Goddess of darkness in Greek mythology.
-
some smashing names here to choose from....my son wants to call our new cat marmite!......lol let us know what you decide!!!xxx
-
90% white with such dark tabby its virtually black so no good for Nyx :(
-
Shame, I love that name. ;) Will keep looking for you. :)

thanks for cheering me up a little this morning. Ayesha was my mother in law's name.
How about Maite (my-eat-ay), it means love in the Basque language. Or same language, Txika (pron. like 'cheeka': means little one, feminine version). Or Zuri, which means beautiful in Swahili.
