We have been asked by a pedigree cat rescue we with with to try to find an experienced home or foster home for a young Bengal who is about 18 to 21 months old. He has been neutered,Vaccinated, wormed and de flead and has had a full health check up with no health problems found.
He has sadly been re homed twice , he attacked the new owners dog and the 2nd home he attacked a child on a trampoline. we are not sure if these attacks were just normal Bengal rough housing or were indeed vicious and would really like to find someone with Bengal experience to foster him to access his behaviour so we can get a better understanding of the type of home needed for him. He is currently in Northamptonshire but we will help with transport to get him elsewhere in the UK if anyone can help. If anyone can help please could you email me at
Kelly-joy@animallifelineuk.org
Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
Best wishes Kelly-joy and The Animal Lifeline UK team:)

Hi kelly, have just emailed you.

Hi,
I have just spoken to Pat at Rushden who has him.
He has been bounced back twice - the last time for beating up the neighbour's Labrador and attacking 2 children down the road.
He is very loving to humans, playful but gets too excited and you need to stop as he goes frantic and is as beautiful as they come. As usual with the breed he is very vocal - in fact the first bounce was because he is too noisy.
The vet has suggested PTS but obv. this is not an option they want to go down.
He needs to be a single cat as he tries to climb out of the pen to get at other cats......
I can't help as the fosterer I was thinking of already has a cat of their own and it sounds as though it would get bloody.....he needs some one on one company and someone who is prepared to work with him....
-
:thanks:for trying though. He is a lovely boy just not shown right from wrong as a kitten :'( so needs someone with experience to help him, there has to be some one out there willing to help him as you said he is a lovely boy just very misunderstood :'(

poor thing, I will pm you my number, sounds like he would need to be kept completely away from my own lot though or do you think being confined would stress him out more?
-
Do we know who his original breeder is?
Have you tried Jacky @ Purebliss, she may know of someone who can help
-
Poor boy i love my baby Bengal to bits i hope he gets a forever home soon :Luv2:
-
He was handed in we no paperwork , so sadly we don't know who his breeder is. If any one can help him please let us know :thanks:
-
Poor lad :( - Bengals can be un-ruley at times - but OH so loving.
-
How can anyone ressst that gorgeous face :Luv:
-
Bengal cat Club Welfare have agreed to take him so they will be able to access him and find him the right home which is great news:)
-
Good that the breed rescue is involved.
Are they a non-destruct?
-
Is that in Lincolnshire Kelly?
-
That's good news can I move this to sorted now?
-
yes all sorted now, Thanks Jayne
-
Great thanks :)

Just to let you all know that this little one is going to the same place that Navahoe was nursed back to health, rehabilitated and re homed - my very good friends Jacky and Tim @ Purebliss. He will be in the best possible place and I have asked Jacky to update me with his progress so will let you all know how he gets on. ;D
-
good news - lets hope they manage to "tame" him - bless!
-
If anyone can Angie it will be Jacky and Tim - TBH he sounded to me like he was just acting like a Bengal - a lot of the time they can look like they are attacking but they are just playing rough !
-
Sure Jacky and Tim will weave their "bengie magic" and then find this boy the best home possible
-
really glad to hear he is going to Jacky! Kelly Joy you have my number if you ever need it
-
Really pleased for this Bengal Boy - you know me and my Bengalies ;D - I'm a sucker for a spotty tum.
-
He even has a possible home to go to already which sounds fab, so a happy ending for this boy after all ;D
-
I am so pleased!
