Title: Looking for an indoor only pensioner!
Post by: Kirst on April 25, 2009, 18:42:27 PM
We are looking to get my grandmother a little furry companion. She lives in a large bungalow and although she has a large garden its quite near a road so indoor only would be preferable.

We would love to give as home to a cat in its twilight years , and of course should the worst happen an the puss outlives my nan then it would always have a home with us.

Kirst.. We have Susie a 12yr old (approx) BW female, very loving but needs a quiet home. She has enjoyed the outside life but not really a cat that will wander. She did belong to a senior lady.. Very healthy but she does have a flea allergy so regulary application of flea stuff (frontline etc) is essential..
Her details are on our website...

She sounds lovely - Frontline wouldn't be a problem - she would be done at the same time as our lot!

Can't fond her on the website tho.............................. :scared:

Hi Kirst.. i dont have any better photos of Susie but she is a bw felix look a like... She is a cat that seems not to eat alot but she has a good weight...She does need a quiet home, she is currently with one of our fosterers who is on her own with no other animals or kiddies around..
Perhaps you can PM me details of your Nan if she seems keen... Susie has has the opportunity to potter in a garden but she is nervous of new people so never ventures far... If fact ifs he was given a freedom of a bungalow i doubt she would venture out at all... She loves dozing.. She is fully vac and chipped...She will hide when new people see her, it took over a week for the fosterer to gain her confidence when she came into us.. But has been very happy since... proving abit difficult to rehome due to her nervous nature, indeed she hasnt has anyone enquiry about her since she came to us, which must of been over 2 months now..Anyhow.. let me know what all think...

Whereabouts in the country are you - we have a few in Coventry that would also fit the bill.

Hi Kirst, if your nan decides she definately wants a new puss let me know as I have a boy who has adopted me (I think he has been dumped), he is looking for a quiet life and a warm lap and is such a soppy lad.  Plus I am in Oxfordshire too.......

I have just added a post to the cats looking for homes section, let me know if she does decide to get a new furry companion
