This one is still AWOL but her owner has received a couple of reports of local sightings and has actually seen her himself but she flew into the park!!  It's all looking quite hopeful, just a case of patience me thinks... :crossed:

Ahhh bless her.  I have just done a search on Senegal Parrots and they are so pretty (I've attached a picture).  Although the colours are really bright and you'd think she would stand out like a sore thumb ... having seen large flocks of brightly coloured lorakeets in Australia I know how easily they blend in and disappear once they get in the trees.  I would imagine the best chance of spotting this missing one would be if it went onto a bird feeder / bird table for food .... which of course at this time of year may be unlikely.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Hi All

Bedfordshire's local Petsearcher again here, it's been a good and bad day for me today - Tillie the tabby cat has been reunited with her owner but I now have a feathering friend who has gone missing:

4 year old small female Senegal Parrot.
She is 6 inches long with a green body, grey head, yellow eyes and a small amount of orange on her chest.
She has an ID ring on her left foot.
Missing since Saurday 22/05.
She is tame and will come to you if you have food. It is likely that she is now becoming hungry so if you see her please try to coax her with some food and try to keep her until her owner can be contacted.

Thanks

Steff
