Just had a call from my local PDSA again.
They have had Poppy for about two weeks. She was taken in with fractured pelvis and I think maybe a fractured femur, which they have attended to and she now needs six weeks strict cage rest and is a bit hobbly on her hind leg so will probably need to be an indoor cat.
Anyway, her owner has now decided they don't want her back and just handed a letter in to the PDSA to that effect, so the PDSA are desperately trying to find somewhere for her.
I have nowhere at the moment to set a cage up - all my rooms are in use - so is there anyone that could take this baby in?
Long shot I know :crossed:

:'( Aww poor girl unwanted now!!

Sadly I am too far away to be any help, hope you manage to find somewhere for her.

Please can you put the area in title Lesley?
I do hope someone can take her

if only she was nearer then we would have taken her in, poor little babe how can people just dump there little cat like that when its so poorly, I have just taken in a poor Little black cat, a Lady phoned and said it had been around her place for three weeks feeding I asked her if she could trap it and take to my vets as it was walking on three legs, she did and it had to have its front leg amputated, i now have three three legged cats

Fingers crossed for the poor baby, how callous of her owners :(
Ron, hope your latest three legged cat can adapt OK and find a lovely home

Got a call from the PDSA to say they have found someone to foster her and the fosterer has said she will probably become a "failed" fosterer and keep her.
Just as well, we're going to Nickynoo's new house tomorrow, which is very near the PDSA hospital, and if she had still been there we would probably have picked her up rather than let anything "nasty" happen to her.
Thanks for your kind offer Ron, hope your new three legged girl is okay. :Luv2:
