Title: Rescue centre in Wiltshire
Post by: Tigerlily (Allison) on March 11, 2011, 11:32:11 AM
I hope this is the right place to put this.

A friend of mine runs a smallish rescue centre in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

I thought if anyone lives in or around Wiltshire they might be interested in looking at the website:

I`m totally smitten with Cecil, he is going to be a little cat with huge purrsonality.

Teresa, I'm sure he's going to look very handsome in the not too distant future.

I keep having to resist the urge to adopt Dolly. She would be a twin to my Toby. He also came from Cat Rescue just over 8 years ago.

We are neighbours  ;) I'm a fosterer for Cats Action Trust (N&W Wilts), you will see several threads about my foster cats in this section  ;)

Was wondering why Dolly looked so familiar... just realised I did her Top Cat entry on Catchat!
(and managed to include a spelling mistake  :-[)

Gillian, I have wanted to do fostering in the past but space is very limited in my house and also I work quite long hours. I hope it's something I will be able to do when I retire.

Sweepster, it's a small world isn't it  ;D

Gill, I guess if he's not grooming himself he will get mats in his fur. My cats are always grooming and if they didn't I dread to think what their fur would be like.

Thank you Ron but I don't run Cat Rescue but it's run by a friend of mine who has done it for many years and works very hard at trying to do her best for all the kitties. I help her out by typing up lists of the cats she has ready for adoption and printing off 60 copies of the poster for her to circulate.

Hi Allison sorrey about that but you still a hell of a lot for  the little cats, I have just printed off posters for a little lost cat that i rehomed she got out the cat flap after 3 days and has not been seen since, i think your freinds web site is good and its hard work keeping it up to date have you had a look at mine. ron@lostcatsbrighton.org.uk

Cheeky I know, as I'm sure Julie has a thousand other things to do, but would dearly love to see a pic of Cecil at 4.9kgs.  To put on 1 and 1/2 kgs in only a few months is absolutely amazing  :Luv:

It's been a long time since I posted in here but on Saturday I made a new poster for Cat Rescue and had to visit the website several times to get descriptions of the kitties available for adoption and thought it would be a good idea to post the link again: http://www.cat-rescue1.co.uk/Personal/aboutpersonal/albumpersonal.htm

Tahnee is just so beautiful  :Luv: :Luv:

Poor Elvis is back with Cat Rescue for a second time. After two years with his new family the couple split and neither of them could take him with them as they were both going into flats that wouldn't allow pets  :( He's a beautiful boy.

Arnie is a bit of handsome beast too  :Luv2: :Luv2:

If I was looking I'd be very, very tempted by Brian  :Luv: :Luv:
