Awww lovely photos of the beautiful black babies!!!....I LOVE black cats...I had a large black cat called Annie once....she really hadbeena constant for me through tough times....she was run over.

She had good innings though and we spent many happy years together....i will never forget my beloved Annie cat...

she was the most intellignet muzzy i ever had...

I love the photos of these boys and girls! they look terribly pampered!!!

Yes she kept it on like that until it ripped off. Silly girl. She is so sweet and lovely, just can't see that so easily on a photo of a black cat. Her brother Charlie is gorgeous too. He's Black and White, handsome little devil.

I'm the proud owner of beautiful black cats, all boys. The wee ones aren't brothers (by blood anyway) but often mistaken for brothers as they are so similar in size and age. I get laughed at when I say but they are nothing alike and point out the various minute details. I love when they both hide under the bed at night and all you see is 2 pair of eyes.

The wee ones with our token ginger.

I've only had two completely black cats in my time, and both passed away.

They were both lovely and had beautiful coats, however they were impossible to see in low light!

Well just to prove that people prefer coloured cats to black ones, we have 11 blacks here, all overlooked for the "prettier" kittens - other people's loss I say.

Daft question to ask about black cats

- my first favourite colour, after all my tabbies, black and whites, greys, grey and whites, my ginger nijas and of course my naughty torties

here at teh Clan we hhave the leader HRH Proncess Sweetie, her black followers are Inca, Cougar, Puma, Divia, Indie, Jet and Turbo and not forgettting my 2 bloack Bridge boys Toerag (HRH's full brother) and Bertie who noone wanted as he has so many problems and was given just a year with us - he got the key to the door and passed on with a new diease

I had a guy once come round to my house to do the kids photos, he said how do you have that in your house I cant stand black cats, refering to Ollie

Needless to say the convo died after that and he went out as quick as he came in

Until I found this site, I had no idea of this. There's nowt as queer as folk and to want a cat but not a black one is indeed very odd

Needless to say, all 3 have entirely different purrsonalities. Ruby on my lap grooming and purring as I type. I would say it was Billy Whiz on my lap but those that know me would know that to be a lie

In an alternate universe, I have several black cats. Some pedigree and some moggy so slightly different body shapes, but all jet black

I love how shiny black fur is.
