Maybe it was just a pretty persian with a chopped off tail, who knows  :evillaugh:

I go to Canterbury at least once a week so I wil take the camera with me in future  ;D

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Japanese bobtails aren't recognised by the GCCF (don't know about FIFe or TICA) so I can't imagine there'd be many of in this country.  Very impressive if you've seen one - you must try to get a pic!

Wow, if irt was I hope it wasnt lost cos it sounds strange that someone would let a pedigree like that roam, I have never seen one of these not even at a cat show.

Or do you mean no tail. or was it a tail that maybe had been partially amputated?

We need a picture!

So go out there again , find the cat and get us a picture

I looked like it was supposed to be short - I will have to go and find it next week - I love canterbury anyway - any excuse  :evillaugh:

yes it had a short tail that sticks up and the fur "cascades"

I just had a look and it may have been a japanese bobtail

It had longer fur than this one

I was walking round canterbury this afternoon and met a kitty. She looked like a persian, only prettier ( :evillaugh: ) and had a bobtail and blue eyes. Her fur was a smokey mixture. I can't believe people allow a cat out in the centre of canterbuy, let alone a pedigree. She let me give her a fuss while the protective dog in the house barked the whole time  ;D
