Gill, spoke to my local RSPCA, and yes, they take both money and food throughout the week.

Was talking to the local RSPCA branch earlier, and they said that it is TEsco week next week, where branches up and down the country stand in Tesco shops from 9-6 Mon to Fri to raise funds, so if you go there, please keep an eye out for them. The proceeds go to the local branches rather than HQ, and they dont all have the policies HQ do, they are guidelines not rules.
