Another cat left by owners when they've moved house :censored: :censored: A guy has just phoned and a cat has been sleeping in his garden the last few days, he took her in last night but his cat and the "intruder" had a mega fight this morning. He phoned the vets up to ask for advice and surprise, surprise they gave him my number. He said he's not sure if she has worms or is pregnant as she's very round :censored:
-
Oh no!!! :( poor bubs.
do you have the space to take her in Dawn?
-
Yes luckily I do as Morris and Midge went last night.......I'm popping round there shortly to pick her up.
-
I picked this little girl up earlier on, she is due to pop in about a weeks time. She's been wormed, deflead and vet checked and she's a little sweetheart :Luv: The vet nurse has christened her Katie and on the whole she seems healthy although a little skinny. I will take some pics of her later.
-
Awwww cant wait to c the pics of her
-
Aww, thank god she got somewhere safe before she gave birth Dawn
-
The guy who phoned up said he'd seen her hanging round in the garden, they've only lived there a couple of weeks and when they demolished the shed in the garden, they realised that's where she'd been sleeping :'( :'( She had a good feed last night, growling with every mouthful, bless her :Luv: :Luv: She is only young, I'd say between 8/12 months.......only a baby :'(
-
sounds like she was left behind by previous occupants of house
-
The owners had moved on :censored: :censored: He's asked round all the neighbours and this seems to be the case.

I just can't comprehend what goes through peoples minds - how can they treat animals like objects. Can't they see that animals have feelings. What the expression? "The more I learn about people, the more I like my cat" - I was as Kopperkins Cattery last night and we were discussing fire certificates. She said that when the fire officer came round to do the assessment, he complained that it was a waste of his time as his job was to save lives and he didn't give a s**t about poxy cats. >:( (not in line with the image of freindly fireman rescueing kitten from old ladies tree! :tired: )
-
Sadly Mark this is the real world, we are meant to be a nation of animal lovers........I think not :censored: :censored: The most annoying thing to me is, if they don't want to be a responsible owner, why get the animals in the first place. I know it's often hard to get them into a rescue but rather than leave them behind, surely it's better if they leave them at a rescues door with a note.......this isn't ideal I know, but at least then they will then be looked after and a loving home found for them. And I just wish they'd get them all SPAYED and NEUTERED :censored:
-
Mark, Glad I had not been there for that as I think I would have been phoning that fireman's senior officer with a few choice words, he is there (and being paid) to make that building safe regardless of how he feels.
-
Thats awful poor baby and so young to have kittens too I hope she has no problems delivering. At least she is in good care now bless her.
-
Here's a piccie of Katie :Luv: :Luv: It's not a very good one but I'll try and take some more later. She's taken to sleeping on the floor of the cage rather than a bed, I think it must be cooler for her.

Poor baby, she's so lovely. Wishing her and her kittens all the very best for the future xxx
If you manage to get your butt over here, you will be able to see her and take her home with you to Scotland :evillaugh:
ps You'll have to wait for her to wean the kittens though cos you're not taking them :evillaugh:

Just came downstairs to squeaking and darling Katie has had 2 babies :Luv: :Luv: I'm just going to leave her to it and just keep an eye on her from a distance :)
Edited to say she has now got 3 :Luv: I've just been in and she's wolfing down some sardines in tomato sauce and growling at the same time  It seems her tummy is more important than labour at this moment in time :) :)
-
Aww, bless her. Lets hope she only has the three.
-
She had 5 in total, sadly one died........it was still in the sac when I looked :'( Mum and the other babies seem fine though this morning :Luv: :Luv:
