I think indoor is somewhere in between regular and light.

I have a sneaky feeling that the indoor varieties are a little lower in fat as indoor cats can quite often be lazy. I'd have to check though and I'm at work at the moment. I'll have a look later.

WEll, I have had 5 cats lose weight on Senior food (all placed on it cos they needed to), and Pebbles wasn't allowed it as it has less calories in it, and she needed to put weight on.
Gill - last time I was in there, they didn't, but they have a new section in mine now.

Senior Food is actually more fattening than regular. I thought the same as you before but was told on here not so. I looked into it and it really is true. The idea is that as cats get older, appetite decreases so there is higher fat & protein in senior food. I looked at one brand (it was either PAH own brand or Hills) and the senior was 20% fat - compared to 16% in adult and 8% in light. PAH own brand and Hills do a senior/light but I have never seen the Hills one in PAH.

Hope Home Bargains still have those offers on when I get back, I am going to have to put my two back on Senior food, they are starting to feel heavy!! I have seen their Vitapurr food, and it doesn't look too bad ingredients wise. Farmfoods had Whiskas pouches at 5 for £1 earlier, but only one flavour.

Hello, Smokey's slave here! Well I've been a little bargain-hunting bunny and seen loads of great offers today, although I live in a bit of a backwards town so you may not have some of the shops!

It all started yesterday, I phoned in my order of RC food as normal, no problems (or bargains sadly) and then popped in to PAH to get me some cat bubbles (which are the best btw, they're sooo much fun!), when I noticed Pro Plan at nearly half price! It was about £5, there's a better descripton on the PAH thread. I bought some, even though my cupboards will shortly be full of RC. Nevermind I thought, it'll get munched.

Then today, I was in Wilko's and they have Iams on 2 for 1. My lot don't like the stuff and it's very controversial but hey ho.

I popped into Jack Fulton to find Iams for 59p a bag! Or 12 pouches of wet for £2.99. Boxes of Sheba trays are £1.29 and Gourmet is always super cheap in there too (£2.99 I think).

I also went to Home Bargains to find "Vitapurr" dry (not heard of it but the ingredients look really good and 30% chicken) 500g for 99p and Perfect Fit Senior and In Home 750g for £1.49!

Phew! I need bigger cupboards.
