Hello! Corporal Smokey here.
Thought I'd join and share fun and rescue stories with you from my humans. I'm a persian at heart, but an honourary moggie, as I was rescued in a terrible state. I was riddled with fleas, ticks and other critters and I have a flea allergy. When Amy, my female human, got me I'm ashamed to say that I was terribly stinky and covered in scabs.
After a bath :scared: and weeks of love, I'm starting to look a little more normal. I do have a need to help other cats with a similar plight so I help my cousins at Ashfield and Amber Valley Cats' protection.
My colleague, a British Blue rescue called Josh may occasionally post for me under my name when I'm busy chasing "Mr Mouse" but I'll never be far away!

Do we call you Sir? Lovely to have the Amber Valley Cats' protection batalion here :)
We also have another Col on with us. It's Sir Col Beau from the Catchat Kent batalion. Do ya know him? He is retired now but i am sure would like to chat about war stories and tactics with ya ;D ;D
Now Col, we absolutely love pics on here so we can see how adorable you both are so we can drool over you. ;) We would be most honered to see what a fine figure of a Col you are. ;D ;D ;D

I fink it's the Col that is higher in rank, is it? (bit of me Welsh coming throught there ;)) In which case then maybe Corp Smokey, ya do know the Sir Col Beau? ;D ;D#

Yes chaps it's Corporal Smokey and Beau and I have corresponded on occasion. His chums at CatChat help my humans all the time.
I can see why you'd want to see a pictue of me, I'm so devilishly handsome!
My human has promised she'll upload some more later when she's not at work

Good to know there's a fine senior officer keeping that Derbyshire Regiment on it's toes. I knew there had to be a feline of distinction behind them, (these human types wouldn't have a clue on their own, you know, quite hopeless they are some of 'em).
I'm impressed to see that your uniform's looking rather decent these days too, well done m'lad, well done! I know what you mean about having 'little critters' on board, when I arrived at Cat Chat Towers I had a rather unwelcome brigade of, um... how shall I say... Internal Wigglies I believe is the polite term, awfully undignified business. Still us superior officers are made of stern stuff, eh what? Bet you gave those fleas the old one-two!!
Righto then, time I was off to marshall the troops, I do believe it's ten-past my mid evening cat-milk time, and that won't do, won't do at all...

Well then feline and human friends, I have given up trying to teach my dumb human about html so I'll do it myself!
