Gillian why are you surprised?  I thought all cats have the ability to sit on things that show them off to their best 

All my lot (and every cat I've ever lived with) has an uncanny ability to always be lying / sitting / sleeping on something that makes them look wonderful ... sometimes it's a black cashmere jumper (nightmare!!!) or sometimes it's a paper bag on the floor ... but whatever it is they always look beautiful
