This is an amazing story: a refugee from Sudan travelled nearly 2000 miles across the desert and sea to Italy with her beloved cat, Lola.

Wow. What a beautifully touching story of courage and tenacity.

WTG Lola and Samma. I hope the two are reunited ASAP after Lola has her shots. No doubtedly a film in the making, I for one would go see it.

A wonderful story, I do hope that once reunited they are not parted again.

I do hope they manage to stay together. So many pets must be left behind and goodness knows what is happening to them. It is so sad that when countries are at war, or in trouble, the animals always suffer.
