The tins do seem to be, and I was impressed at it having more meat than the well known ones, I shall be asking the rescue to get that in future, it will be cheaper than Whiskas, and it does seem better ingredient wise - just a shame there wasn't such a range of flavours, but that could have just been the shop I was in.

My neighbours cat won't eat anything else but Vitacat; it started with the beef & heart some time ago but now has the other varieties - very good value.

Went to Aldi today, not somewhere I normally go, and had a scan of the cat food like you do - their tins of food actually contain more meat than Whiskas etc!! Their fishy ones in jelly are 9% (and 1% is fresh fish), the meaty ones in gravy are 14% (6% fresh meat) and their supermeat is 15% for the fishy (with some of it fresh fish), and 20% for the meaty (with some of it fresh meat). Cost is 34p a tin. Sadly their pouches, trays and dry food aren't as good
